Description of Practice

Established in 1989, The LAW OFFICE OF GERALD A. PHELPS is a general practice law office, with a concentration in civil litigation. His litigation practice includes case strategy, discovery, motion practice, arbitration and mediation, jury and bench trials, and appellate practice. 

The office has handled diverse civil cases including contracts, malpractice, federal tort claims, business buy outs, complex estate, trust and fiduciary litigation, divorce, agency, equity, rescission and declaratory judgment actions, and securities arbitration. The office has tried cases to a verdict in both federal and state court.

In addition to the litigation practice, the office also provides counsel in personal and estate planning, tax, wills and trusts, probate and trust administration, and general business and real estate matters.
